The class meeting was very productive!! We decided that class dues would be $60 a year. We need money in the account to be able to plan events as well as support our classmates in their time of sorrow. Dues can be paid in two payments. We are about to start having more events and it takes money to do things, so...paying your dues will ensure that you are able to take part. When events are held you will not be able to attend if you have not paid. The next scheduled event is a cookout/fish fry at LaQuanna Pierce's house. This will be in July and we will have some big inflatables (including a huge waterslide) for the kids. More details to come. The next scheduled class meeting will be in April. I will post an exact date soon. We have decided that we are going to begin having events even if it includes 5 people. I really want us to do more as a class. If we have not learned anything else, we should have learned that time can not be taken for granted. Let's make more memories!
We have begun to discuss the 15 year reunion that is quickly approaching. Please plan to attend upcoming meetings to be apart of this process.
We are having a fundraiser for Walker Maze and his family. We will be selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts for two weeks to raise money for him. We will be selling Feb 21st-March 7th. If u are interested in selling to help raise money please inbox me and let me know. For those of you who want to just give money let me know that too and I will make arrangements to get it from you. Let's make the best of this doughnut sale. We have people that work at hospitals, schools, prisons etc. I really want us to come through for Walker! Four of us went to the funeral to support Walker.
